SaaS (Startups as a Startup)

4 March 02019

I read DHH and Jason Fried’s most recent book, and there was one idea that really resonated with me: approaching business processes like a startup. When I say “like a startup” I mean throwing your best guess out there, respond to feedback, and iterate to something better; and when I say “business processes” I mean things like hiring or marketing. A lot of time, tech nerds people will be more than happy to apply that framing to the product, but will never think about doing the same to the business end of a business. In fact, why stop there? I’m sure you can find all sorts of places to apply that kind of framing.
